Day 2-OHChallenge

Day 2

As I am sure you are already aware, your mind can play very funny tricks on you (especially when it comes to food).  I personally, seem to have the hardest time facing the 2nd day of the detox.  Remember, staying hydrated is very important in this entire process, especially when detoxing the body??

I question arose from 1 of the participants today that I would like to address...."Is it OK to take over the counter meds during the program??"  The answer is NO.  Over the counter meds, prescription meds, artificial sweetners, caffeine, etc..are all toxic to the body and will destroy your kidneys and liver with time and continued use. Remember, we are cleaning out the very systems of the body that we poison on a daily, weekly, monthly, and yearly basis.  During time, we are eliminating toxins as much as possible.  PLEASE REMEMBER THIS.

Finally, we are coming up on the end of the week.  As you know, we are keeping track of your weight on a weekly basis to monitor you.  Please make sure you stop by the office by Thursday at 6:00pm to weigh in.  However, remember, this challenge is not about weight. This challenge is about you cleaning your body, replenishing it with better choices of food, and MAINTAINING IT.  For some of you, I know weight is a huge factor and it very well should be.  But remember, this is a process, stick to the plan and you can only succeed!!!!!!

Have a Blessed Day

From Dr. D:

Today, many of you have have inquired about using the restroom. You may or may not have noticed that going to the bathroom has changed. If you have not noticed any changes, that is OK. Some of you are so backed up with toxic food and foods that are hard to digest, that your body is still getting rid of the Junk.

Remember, keep you food intake to the bare minimun during this time. some of you have told me you ate some nuts, or carrot sticks...that is fine as long as you keep it to raw foods (veges, nuts, fruit)

You are 1/2 way through the hard part..keep up the great work!!!

Hello everyone,
I am so happy to say that I am done with my my detox. As most of you know I started earlier last week. Yes it tasted bad, yes I had headaches, but you know what... I accomplished something I have been trying to do for years... GET HEALTHIER, and I figure this, if I can stick to this... I can change my life. I am being completely serious. I am tired of trying to loose vanity pounds, I am trying to be healty.
So any whooooo lol,
I would like everyone to do a little project. Please when you get a chance do me a favor and add up what you spend as a family eating out every week. This includes those solo trips to starbucks :),
Remember be here Thursday for your first weigh in. YEEE HAAAWWWW

Way to go Kristi!!! I completely agree with you... If I can make it through this week, the rest is a very realistic, attainable goal. And I am so excited to feel healthy! The last two days have been tough, but at the same time the challenge is kind of fun. I know we can all do it!
